Baby Play

This is a free to access play session for babies and children who are not independently mobile. Contact the children centre for days, times and availability.

Play and Stay

These are free play and stimulation sessions for children up to five years old.

REAL (Raising Early Achievement in Literacy)

We offer a range of group or individual sessions which will support you as a parent with your child’s development. These sessions help your child to get ‘ready to learn’. If you would like further information, please contact the children centre.

Speech, Language and Communication pathway

Please contact the children’s centre if you have any concerns about your child’s speech, language and communication skills. The professionals there will help you to find the right support.

Toy Library and Story Sacks

Why buy when you can borrow? We have a large selection of toys to suit ages 0 – 5.

Toothbrushes and Toothpaste

You can buy toothbrushes and toothpaste from the centre – at  £1.50 for 3 items (one item must be toothpaste).

Feeder Cups 

You can buy Tommee Tippee free flow feeder cups with 3 lids for only £1.20 from the centre.

Healthy Start Vitamins

Healthy start can be collected with a healthy start card or purchased – womens tablets for 80p and children’s drops for £1.60.

Getting here

If driving from Rochdale, turn left from Broadway onto Hunt Lane. Take the first right onto Buckley Street. At the end of the road, turn right onto Queens Road (near Starfish Nursery). Take next left and follow the road to the end. The centre is on the left.

If walking from the Chadderton shopping precinct, go down Melbourne Street (near Home Bargains). At the end of the road turn right onto Stockfield Road. Turn immediate left onto Queens Road, then left again onto Albion Street and follow to the end. The centre is on the left.
