- Where are the family going?
- Who is riding on Daddy’s back?

Visit your local park or woods and take a bag or bucket with you to collect things in then discuss what you’ve collected when you get home.

As you walk, play “I Spy”. Model the sounds that you can hear at the beginning of words, for example; “I spy with my little eye, something beginning with “ssssss” – it’s a stone!” or you can ask your child to find things that are different shapes or colours.
